Green Beauty Predictions for 2016

I was asked what my Green Beauty Predictions for 2016. After thinking about it for a bit, I thought there may (and should) be more of a focus on quality ingredients, simplification, earth conscious choices and supporting local companies.
Folks are becoming more thoughtful with regards to ingredients in products. They are becoming more involved consumers when making choices about the products they are using on themselves and for their family and thinking about whether or not an ingredient is safe or necessary.
Simplification! The new year is always a fresh start, and people love to get reduce clutter and this goes for their skincare as well. People will be streamlining their beauty routine down to a few products that make them feel better.
The green trend is here to stay (thankfully!) and more and more people are becoming aware and involved in the products they choose for themselves and their family. Folks will be considering packaging and waste when making choices about beauty, skincare and body products.
Lastly, the local movement is growing. Wherever they live in the world, folks will be searching out local options with companies who match their values, beliefs and views.
